Verge designed a custom coffee table that balances sculptural presence with marine-grade performance. The piece explores proportion, materiality, and stability, resulting in a refined yet durable design made to perform seamlessly both in motion and at rest.

At Verge great design is never just about utility — it’s about presence. For the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Verge Yacht Design and F/Yachting presented a bespoke exterior coffee table that reads as both sculpture and structure, the outcome of a dialogue between design and craft.

The design process at Verge began with proportion and flow: a surface meant to anchor conversation and movement on deck, lines drawn to feel fluid yet precise. It was conceived as more than furniture — an architectural gesture that bridges interior refinement with exterior durability.

F/Yachting carried this vision forward, shaping the design into reality with the precision of their in-house engineering. Every curve, seam, and junction was tested against the rigors of marine use, realized in materials normally reserved for interiors and now brought convincingly outdoors.

The coffee table is the product of conversation — between designer and builder, sketch and fabrication, concept and material. Verge provided the design DNA; F/Yachting translated it into form with structural clarity and enduring precision.

The result is not simply a coffee table, but a demonstration of how collaboration transforms. It is both object and idea: design with purpose, build with clarity, create with vision.
